Stimulus Scams

At a meeting yesterday one of the participants excitedly told the group that he has been contacted about a grant for his business from the stimulus program. He said it might be a scam but it seems ligitimate to him. He’s going to follow-up and let us know how real it is.

I had my doubts – it just seems too good to be true. Interestingly, Kelly Spors has a href="http://blogs.wsj.com/independentstreet/2009/03/18/beware-of-scams-promising-help-in-winning-government-money/">Wall Street Journal blog today that addresses this very issue, so I want to share this with you.
