Creative Nerve: The Politics of Change

On the road

For the next few days, I’ll be visiting St. Louis, getting a thorough soaking in the preoccupations of college-age kids who think my age group is already all wet. You’ll find periodic reports here on what’s new and creative among their set, as well as among educators, on campus and in what was once, stirringly, the Gateway to the West, but has now become – at least in my mind – more familiarly known as the place that gave us T.S. Eliot and toasted ravioli.

One of these things was genius. Stay tuned to find out which.

This way to weird cooking.

Back at last

And about time, too.

On behalf of Geniocity.com, I want to apologize for our long absence. The site had to go through an unavoidable and complex reconstruction and security issues prevented us from even putting up a message telling you what was happening.

That was frustrating for us and probably mystifying for you. I’m sorry.

But we have returned and are looking forward, not only to getting back to normal, but also to a number of exciting additions and improvements we plan to make soon to our look and content. We’ll be expanding our range of topics and features, the better to bring you the latest news and perspective on the creative frontier. And we’ll be introducing the work of some very cool artists to The Geniocity Shop.

I hope you’ll like what you find. Thanks for reading.
